![]() ![]() Not enough and the tone arm would drop like a rock. To much fluid and the tonearm would skip on the lead in until the cue elevator was all the down. This alone too a couple of days of adding or removing the damping fluid. I had to strip the mechanism down and even remove the tonearm on both to get them clean and to add some silicone damping fluid so the tonearm would drop at the correct rate. I recently serviced two of these for a customer and the old Garrard grease was in every piece of the mechanism. Because of the value of this turntable it might not be the one to start with. But I will tell you that they are quite complex and if you have have no experience with Garrard turntables in general. ![]() Hi Bill, I've never seen a video online showing how to refurbish a Zero 100.
